Locate the Assistants folder on your hard drive, open it, then double-click on the Internet Setup Assistant icon.
Click the 'Yes' button then 'Yes' again.

  2. Configuration name and connection type: type FDT.net

    Enter the dial-up number for your city.
    User ID (login): (chosen when you signed up with FDT.net)

  7. Domain Name Servers:

    Call (888) FDT-9903 for the best IP address to use in your city. Leave the domain name blank.

  8. Email address: yourlogin@FDT.net
    Email password: (the same as your dial-up password)
    You can leave the 'greater than' symbol in the last box.

  9. Email account: (the portion of your email address to the left of the @ symbol)

  10. Newsgroup (NNTP) Host: news.FDT.net
